Classes use Jet Mini-Lathes with emphasis on safe operation and proper technique. The progressive structure allows students to develop skills at their own pace, from beginner projects to advanced turning work. All age groups from children to senior citizens are accommodated in the program. Projects include workbenches, outdoor furniture, and similar functional pieces requiring multiple machine operations and joinery techniques. The class is suitable for students aged 8 through senior citizens, with instruction adapted to skill level and physical capability.
